In the first quarter following year Intel company will present 32 nm processors following generation, which has the designation code sandy bridge. It is known that besides some architectural improvements, the processors will obtain another layout and design concept. Graphic core and memory controller will be, for example, located on the common crystal with the computational core. For the work with sandy bridge processors will be required a motherboard with LGA 1155, based on chipset Intel sixth series, which will propose support to one or two ports SATA-600.
Associate reports that the expansion rates of sandy bridge generation processors will be sufficiently high. From the second quarter 2011 is planned the release of processor generation sandy bridge, which will replace present Pentium g6950 (2.8 GHz). In other words, in the second quarter 2011 the processors LGA 1155 already will get in the price segment up to $100.
Associate gives the rates of expansion for present 32 nm Intel processor in the desktop segment. If now their portion in the deliveries structure is equal to 44-45%, then in the first quarter 2011 this index will rise to 79-88%, depending on the market segment.
