During May this year IBM company stated about the intentions to use the calculation's accelerators NVIDIA tesla in its server solutions. Two processors series xeon 5500 are coupled with two tesla m2050, which are the close relatives of desktop video card GeForce GTX 480. Dell company began to use calculation accelerator tesla c1060 and S1070 in the workstations precision r5400, T5500, T7400 and T7500 still during May last year. Yesterday the company presented a number of server solutions powerEdge m610x, characterized by two slots for positioning calculation accelerator tesla m2050 or their analog. Each calculation accelerator can consume to 250 W - the power-supply system and server cooling are calculated for the appropriate load. This server can be also equipped with the solid-state disk fusion-IO production. Dell powerEdge m610x can hold a pair of xeon 5500 and 5600 processors with four or six core, and the memory volume can reach 192 Gb. The deliveries of this server model will begin during July on the price from $2269 for the base configuration. | ||
