In the middle of July, for example, Nvidia company will release the video card GeForce GTX 460 on base of new chip GF104, and the video card GeForce GTX 45x on base of GF106 chip will appear in the middle of August. Associates assert that the GF104 chip for GeForce GTX 460 will have the reduced functional blocks and memory bus. Theoretical maximum for GF104 is 384 stream processors and 256- bit memory bus, but on GeForce GTX 460 we will see only 336 stream processors and 192- bit bus. It is assumed that the entire collection of functional blocks for GF104 chip will be open in another video card: GeForce GTX 475. Two-chip video card GeForce GTX 490 on base of GF104 with three gigas-byte memory will be presented during August this year. During August also will appear the video card GeForce GTX 455 or GeForce GTS 455. This will be a product which cost less than $200 on base of GF106 chip. Possible to assume that GF106 will obtain 240 stream processors. | ||
