The two-story factory fab 5 will be built in two stages, the first will be completed by spring following year. On the occupied area (57 000 sq. m) new factory will be compared with that already existing fab 4. In Fab 5 will work 4300 specialists, including 250 engineers. After the completion of building fab 5 will be able to issue monthly up to 210 thousand silicic plates with memory microcircuits type NAND, processed on 20 nm technology. At present Toshiba and SanDisk enlarge production capacities, using free areas Of fab 4. The company hope that the new factory will help to satisfy the growing demand for the solid-state memory.
