The company berkeley varitronics systems, which is specialized in the tools for testing wireless connection, released the analyzer spectrum bumbleBee, in which the user interface was entrusted to super-portable PC (UMPC). Device is the final system, into composition of which enters the calibrated receiver, designed for the work in the popular ranges of radio frequencies, including Wi-Fi, WI- MAX, ISM and Bluetooth.
The computer works under control Windows XP. It has as base 1- GHz processor intel pentium M ULV and is equipped sensory, 7 inch (LCD) liquid-crystal screen (resolution WVGA). The built-in in UMPC hard disk with a volume of 40 Gb makes possible to store data of measurements and to reproduce the recorded spectrograms, giving the possibility to analyze the data about the zone and the degree of signals interference at different points. The spectrum analyzer has three pairs of markers, regimes of spectrogram and histogram, how to check the average waveform, to fix peak values and to perform other operations.
With the aid of BumbleBee the engineers and technology occupied with development and diagnostics of wireless radio-frequency communication channels, can analyze the conditions for the propagation of waves, determine the optimum locations of equipment. Optionally accessible antenna for radio will prove useful for the development of the sources of interferences. Price of this new product is about 4500 dollars. Related Products :
