The memory types  utilized in the solid-state disk are well known to us. SLC (single-level cell) is characterized by high transmission speed and the increased longevity, but it has high price. Cheaper MLC memory (multi-level cell) is already capable of storing in one cell two bits of information. Intel company declared, that within the joint enterprise from Micron it begins the deliveries of memory models TLC type  (triple-level cell),  released on 25 nm technology. Each cell capable of storing three bits of information. Alas, TLC memory has its deficiencies. First, it is slower than MLC, and therefore it will hardly interest  SSD producers.
