Company ASUS presented new notebook a8Jr, which became first in the world pc with graphic processor ATI mobility radeon x2300.
Unfortunately, practically there is no information about the new mobile GPU , bypassing with standard phrases about the high performance of ATI mobility radeon x2300 and realism created by this card. Support the technology hyperMemory is not update, just as the presence of certificate to compatability with Windows vista. It is possible to assume, if ASUS and AMD has said nothing about the realization of support directX 10 in Mobility radeon x2300, so there is no support :-(.  ASUS a8Jr is based on processor intel core 2 Duo (model t7600, T7400, T7200, T5600 and T5500) and the chipset intel 945PM express. 14,1 inch wide-screen monitor use technology ASUS splendid. The network possibilities of this notebook are Ethernet- adapter, wireless controller intel PRO/Wireless 3945ABG (IEEE 802.11 a/b/g), optional adapter bluetooth 2.0 (with EDR). It is worthwhile to note the presence of five ports USB 2.0 witch is rarity for notebook . Furthermore, there are a port IEEE1394, card reader, connection for the expansion express card, interfaces for the connection with external monitors (digital DVI and analog D -Sub15) and video output (S -Video).
