Samsung company officially declared about the intention to present the plane-table computer galaxy tab on the exhibition IFA 2010 in the beginning of September. The characteristics of this plane-table device are 7 inch screen Galaxy tab will appear first in Europe, USA and Asia, where will have time to appear on sale in this year, it will be extended exclusively by honeycomb connection operators and by providers. Already in the middle of September Galaxy tab will appear in European connection operators . 7 inch screen with 1024 X 600 resolution is sufficiently compact, and mass is 380 gram. For comparison: iPad version without 3G has the weight of exactly 300 gram and the presence of 3G- modem added to the weight 50 gram. However, iPad possesses larger display, but this already a question of user preferences. The overall dimensions of samsung device are equal to 190 X 121 X 12 mm. Furthermore, Galaxy tab is characterised by two Web- cameras. One, with 3.2 MP, it is equipped with light-emitting diode flash, and it can record video with 720 X 480 points quality. The second camera is 1.3 MP. The regular battery capacity 4000 will be sufficient for seven hours of continuous video playback , or ten hours of different work. Galaxy tab is based on ARM cortex-A8 processor with 1 GHz frequency and the graphic system powerVR SGX540. For storing data can be used 16 Gb or 32 Gb solid-state memory, additional volume is accessible through the slot for microSD . Accelerometer, illumination sensor , geomagnetic sensor and GPS receiver. For connection with the external device are provided the adapter wi-Fi (802.11n) and modem with 2.5G/3G networks support , and also bluetooth 3.0 controller .
