South Korean company Samsung is preparing to release a new tablet computer with the model number SM-T380 / SM-T385. We know it as the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 of the 2017 model year, but it will appear on the market under a different name.
According to Roland Kwandt, the new Samsung tablet will be called the Samsung Galaxy Tab A2 S. It is rumored that it will acquire an 8-inch display with a resolution of 1200x800 pixels, an 8-megapixel rear and a 5-megapixel front camera. The tablet will be based on a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 427 processor with a clock speed of 1.4 GHz, complemented by 2 GB of operating and 16 GB of internal memory.
When and at what price Samsung Galaxy Tab A2 S goes on sale, is still unknown. Most likely, it will be presented within the framework of the IFA 2017 exhibition, which starts on September 1 in Berlin.
