The achieved in summer agreement between Intel and federal commission for trade IN USA (FTC) is re-corrected. As it follows from the communication on FTC site, commission affirmed the change, which is concerned by one of the key measures, designated in the agreement, as soon as it ended the period, diverted for the public consideration.
The discussion deals with the platform Intel oak trail, which will be appear during December. Now Intel has the right to leave Oak trail without PCI express support. Previously regulators required Intel to add PCI express support in order to not to limit the productivity of graphic processors.
Over the long term this means that devices on base Of oak trail, mainly, tablet computer, most probably will not have GPU, produced by other companies. Intel has the right to release such products until June 2013. The initial requirements version , which are contained in the agreement, will enter after this.
