intel company reported that to 2015 the chief players of monitor market intend to forego the use of analog interfaces for the connection of monitors and displays of notebooks. To 2013 intel and AMD are going to forego the support of LVDS - interface, which allow to connect the display of notebook to the regular video system. To 2015 Intel company intended to forego the support of D -Sub in desktop products and notebooks.
Passage to the use of digital interfaces HDMI and DisplayPort will decrease the thickness of notebook case , increase the operation time and reduce energy consumption level. Furthermore, these interfaces support higher resolutions and large color depth in comparison with analog predecessors. For connection of notebook monitor to their graphic system will be used the interface displayPort. Let us note that the support of DVI- I will end within the comparable periods, and to the owners of eD -Sub or DVI device has to use adapters. This initiative, besides Intel and AMD, is supported by dell, Lenovo, Samsung electronics and LG display companies. Related Products :
