MSI Company today demonstrated its last video card overclock series hawk, based on  radeon HD 6870. The card is separated by the use of a original printed-circuit board, cooling system twin frozr III, and support the adjustments of graphic processor voltage, memory and VDDCI  through the special utility Â
The power system of  r6870 hawk is made according to 8 + 2 phases (4 +1 in the reference models), eight phases will bring the supply voltage to the graphic processor, and two are intended for the video memory microcircuits  .
New R6870 hawk also include the cooling system twin frozr mentioned above , supplied with five heat pipes (two of them 8mm superPipes), nickel-plated copper base and two 80 mm  fans with super-effective screws newest design. On the assertion of producer Twin frozr III is 7 dB quieter (in the regime full load), than the standard solution, and cooling itself became more effective.
The card has 1120 stream processors, GPU frequencies equal to 930 MHz (900 MHz in reference model), 1 Gb GDDR5 memory functioning at the frequency 4200 MHz, and also dual DVI, HDMI and two mini displayPort
