According to available in the network data, Now are already known the first test results of the new 3d- adapters on the base of the expected video processor AMD r600.
Furthermore, a series of adapters to R600 now at long last are available . .
Four versions of accelerators to R600 will have these code names:
- Dragonshead;
- Dragonshead 2;
- Catseye;
- UFO.
Dragonshead (ATI radeon X2800XTX) - 31,25- cm card with 1024mb and GDDR4 memory . Model is intended for the OEM- deliveries. Dragonshead 2 the same adapter R600XTX, only shorter into the length (23,94 cm), it is intended for retail sale. Catseye , the version is about 10-15% lower than R600XTX, will be completed by 512mb memory GDDR3. UFO , still lower than adapter on chip R600XT, on will be also completed by 512mb memory, and it will be equipped with DVI and TV-out. The length of version UFO R600XL is the same : 23,94 cm as in Dragonshead 2 (R600XT). Energy consumption of UFO will be 180 W. The beginning of model production is planned on April 2007.
Cooling adapters of series dual air cooler is used.

Tests were made on PC with the processor AMD athlon64 FX55 and two test versions : 3DMark03 pro v3.6.0 final and 3DMark05 pro v1.2.0 final. The screen resolution during the test was set to 1024x768 NO AA or AF.
