The Taiwan company acer released the business notebook travelMate timeline , designated by 8573 and 8473. Both devices are built on intel huron river platform.
The notebooks are equipped with a number of functions, which allow to avoid unsanctioned access to classified information. In particular, devices are equipped with hardware coding modules TPM, which are supplemented by the applications Of acer proShield and File shredder.

Notebooks are built on the platform intel huron river and will use the appropriate components: processors intel core second generation with built-in GPU intel HD graphics 3000. Some version also support the installation of discrete video card NVIDIA. Due to the support of optimus technology in the latter case users can select between the use of discrete 3d- adapter and built-in.

Diagonal of acer travelMate timeline 8473 is 14 inches, TravelMate timeline 8573 15 inches. In both cases the resolution of display is 1366 X 768 pixel. The thickness of laptop is 25 mm, mass in the case of model with the smaller diagonal is 2,3 kg, elder model is approximately 300 grams heavier. The maximum HDD capacity is 750 GB, optional SSD 128 GB. Maximum DDR3 volume is 8 GB. In the configuration of notebook enter also interface USB 3.0 ports and HDMI, adapters gigabit ethernet and Wi-Fi , web- camera 1,3 Mp with microphones.

The cost of device on the European market starts from 630 Euros.
