We already know that AMD will remove from production processors Socket AM3, to the end of the first quarter next year it will reduce their share in the range of products to the minimum. In the first quarter 2012 the share of CPU Athlon II will include no more than 5% , the share of Socket AM3 + processor and hybrid processor series E will include 20% and the rest will make processors Llano A Series Socket FM1.
Second wave of Llano processors will reach the market in September this year. This is a dual-models A4 and close to the price of adjacent series. In the third quarter , AMD will stop accepting applications for the supply of processors Phenom II X4 970/965 and Phenom II X2 565/560, Athlon II X4 650/640 and Athlon II X3 450, Athlon II X2 255/270, Athlon II X4 610e and some other models.
Phenom II processors will be completely removed by the fourth quarter, Athlon II will hold a quarter longer.
