First AMD processors on Bulldozer architecture are available for less than a month, but some enthusiasts already gained access to them. The CPU AMD FX-8130P was overclocked to the frequency 5.14 GHz, (1.34 GHz above its default ).
The base was the motherboard ASUS Crosshair V Formula. The maximum frequency reached by the processor successfully finished the test Super Pi, but for the smooth passage of CineBench R11.5 it was required to reduce the freq to 4.83 GHz band.
AMD FX-8130P includes eight processing cores clocked at 3.8 GHz (the maximum frequency is achieved through Turbo Core technology 2.0 - 4,2 GHz), 8 MB cache in the second and third tier and dual-channel RAM DDR3-1866 MHz.
According to unconfirmed data, AMD delayed the release of Zambezi processors due to their performance which did not meet the expectations of the company and made them uncompetitive with Intel. The solution was the transfer of FX series representatives at B2 stepping, which, of course, requires some time.
