Gigabyte Technology Company is currently preparing a revised edition of video card GV-R697UD-2GD, which operates at a reference frequency , but is equipped with a cooler WINDFORCE 3X, which include three PWM-fan, 3D radiator , and three copper heat pipes. The updated model, also known as GV-R697UD-2GD rev. 2.0, comes with one important addition - it use NEC Proadlizer capacitors, providing more stable power at high loads. Like its predecessor, the card can is based on the technology Ultra Durable VGA, it has a 5-10% lower GPU temperature and 10-30% lower losses in the power system. Ultra Durable VGA technology requires increased layer of copper-based adapters, Japanese solid capacitors, inductors with ferrite cores, as well as field-effect transistors with low-resistance RDS (on). Radeon HD 6970 includes a 1536 stream processors, the GPU frequency is 880 MHz memory interface - 256-bit, there is 2 GB of GDDR5 memory operating at 5500 MHz frequency and support CrossFireX, and dual DVI, HDMI (gold) and DisplayPort outputs. | ||
