Changes after the transition from Socket AM3 to Socket AM3 + are so insignificant that many motherboards with Socket AM3 socket can work with Socket AM3 + processors, and mechanical systems incompatibility are not necessary. The situation with Socket FM1 is different , but later we revealed that the majority of coolers for Socket AM3 platform will be installed without any problems on motherboard with Socket FM1 connector.
In this context, the decision of some manufacturers of cooling systems to remind about the compatibility of existing products with new motherboards is a bit strange.
