VIA Technologies company introduced a new version of VIA VB8004 motherboard -Mini-ITX. From its predecessor, the new motherboard is distinguished by the dual-core VIA Nano X2 Series E, operating at 1.6 GHz.
The base is a single-chip chipset VIA VX900 , released in March last year. According to the manufacturer, VIA VB8004 is suitable for the construction of informing and gaming systems.
The motherboard itself is designed to connect one or two displays. Setting the graphics module VIA S3 5400E increases the number of simultaneously connected to four monitors.
VIA VB8004 configuration includes Gigabit Ethernet port, and six ports USB 2.0. SODIMM slot supports up to 4GB DDR3.
The module supports DirectX 10.1, Shader Model 4.1, OpenGL 3.1 and OpenCL 1.0, and ChromotionHD 2.1 provides hardware decoding of video formats H.264, VC-1, WMV-9 and MPEG-2 / 4, including high-definition up to 1080p.
