We already know some details about the server processor Opteron, which will be released on 32 nm technology in 2012, . It is expected that this 10 cores Terramar processors and Sepang interface will support PCI Express 3.0. Architecture cores of these processors will be improved as compared with Bulldozer.
Associate referring to April AMD presentation reported that in 2013 will be released server processors Dublin and Macau. The first will be up to 20 cores, second - up to 10, both series will be produced on 28 nm technology.
We note that with the 28 nm Opteron processors will use G2012 (for Dublin) and C2012 (to Macau) motherboards. These will be presented in 2012 in conjunction with processors Terramar (G2012) and Sepang (C2012). G2012 Platform allows you to merge in a single system up to four processors, C2012 - from one to two.
Note that AMD is already using the name Dublin to distinguish their processors.
