AMD is expanding the range of supplied Llano Socket FM1 processors. AMD is currently experiencing problems meeting the demand for Llano processors, Globalfoundries company can not provide the required product level. AMD plans from the beginning of September - to propose new Llano models. Motherboard manufacturers are also going to increase Socket FM1 production , to bring supply in line with demand. Assocaite report that manufacturers already have samples of 28 nm processors AMD, NVIDIA and Qualcomm may refrain from an early placement of orders for mass production due to limited demand. However, it is unlikely to affect the announcement timing of 28 nm graphics solutions from AMD and NVIDIA. | ||
