Fusion-io presented the storage solutions ioDrive2 Duo PCI Express.
The drive is compatible with the connector ioDrive2 PCI Express x4 and in its structure, uses memory chips SLC NAND ( 400 GB and 600 GB model) or MLC NAND ( 365 GB, 765 GB and 1.2 TB models). Performance are at 1.5 GB / s in sequential read operations, and 1.3 GB / s when writing, the number of I / O operations when working with random blocks of 512 KB is equal to 352 000 (read) and 514 000 (write). The second model, ioDrive2 Duo, uses PCI Express x8 and is available in versions with storage capacity of 1.2 SLC NAND and MLC NAND TB 2.4 TB capacity. PCI Express x8 interface allows the drive to demonstrate the speed sequential read and write at 3 Gb / s and 2.6 Gb / s, respectively, and 702 000 / 937 000 I / O operations per second for reading and writing random data blocks.
Both drives are supplemented by software VSL 3.0 which supports Adaptive FlashBack, which provide the ability to self-correct errors in the event of failure of one or more chips drive without interrupting his work. Drives Fusion-io ioDrive2 and ioDrive2 Duo based on MLC NAND chips will be available in November at a price of $ 5950. Options based on SLC NAND will be released later. Related Products :
