Among all manufacturers supporting Intel to develop ultrabook, Dell company has the most painful experiences in the creation of ultrathin laptops. This explains why the second-largest computer maker in the world company still has not disclosed its plans to release ultrabooks.
HP will release its ultrabook before the end of this year, Dell will make a similar move in January , during the CES 2012 in Las Vegas. The corresponding HP product will be manufactured by Quanta Computer, and Dell ultrabook will be produced at Wistron facilities . Note that the last contractor is also releasing the 13.3-inch version of Acer Aspire S3, which is one of the cheapest ultrabooks.
Compal Electronics produces larger 15-inch Acer Aspire S3 and Lenovo IdeaPad U300s, and Asustek ultrabook are produced at the facilities of Pegatron Technology.
