BIOSTAR company announced sales of BIOSTAR A55ML motherboards, designed for hybrid processors AMD A and AMD E2 FM1. These motherboards selected a compact form factor microATX (244 x 225 mm), which is coupled with all necessary interfaces and reasonable price. Motherboards are based on chipset AMD A55. The list of supported processors include model series AMD A8, AMD A6, AMD A4 and AMD E2 with TDP up to 65W. The motherboard has two slots DIMM, which supports up to 8 GB of memory in dual channel configuration DDR3-1333/1066, as well as factory overclocked modules DDR3-1866/1600. They support DDR3-1866 , digital video output DVI-D slot and PCI Express 2.0 x16 for 3D-card. There are two expansion slots PCI Express x1 2.0 slot and one PCI. The motherboard is equipped with four ports A55ML SATA 3Gb / s with support for creating disk arrays AMD RAIDXpert levels 0,1,10, and four-port USB 2.0, built-in Ethernet controller Ethernet 10/100 Mbit / s and a six-channel audio codec HD Audio. The motherboard supports proprietary technology BIOSTAR for configuring and monitoring system, including utilities BIOS Flasher BIOS RELIFE to update or restore the BIOS via USB-drive technology and BIO Remote BIO Remote2 for remote control of multimedia capabilities.
