The Chinese associate hardspell published on its pages summary information about test of twenty processors, among which there were very interesting models intel core 2 Duo, whose appearance in sale is expected in the following month, E6420 and E6320. Let us recall, these new processor will differ from those already  present now e6400 and E6300 with the increased card from 2 mb to 4 mb.  Clock frequencies (1,86 GHz and 2,13 GHz) and frequency FSB (1066 MHz) will be the same as in predecessors. Both new processors will be made on 65- nm technological standards using LGA 775 socket. Their level TDP will not exceed 65 W, but the core supply voltage  will be located in the range 1,187-1,325 v. With such characteristics e6420 and E6320 will have completely attractive price 183 and 163 dollars, respectively. Among participants in test we find also Core 2 Duo e4400 - solution with 2 mb cache in the second level, working at frequency 2 GHz with FSB 800 MHz. It will be released  in the third quarter on the price 133 dollars. Here are the results of some tests: As u see that E6420 always hold the second position . the E6600 is the leader , we note that from April it s price will be 224 dollars. The advantage of 4- mb cache over 2 mb is clearly demonstrated on the following table, which compares processors, which work at same frequency. We see that the greatest benefit from increase of cache - in office and gaming applications, and practically it does not exist in applications of professional graphic. In any event, E6420, E6320, and E4400 are completely attractive we wait for their appearance in retail sale. Related Products :
