Intel has introduced its fastest solid state drives consumer segment - Intel SSD 520. These devices are equipped with SATA 6 Gb / s , using 25-nanometer flash memory NAND flash controllers from Intel and LSI SandForce. According to Intel, SSD Drives 520 have the sequential write speeds of up to 520 MB / s and the sequential read speed of up to 550 MB / s. Maximum performance on write operations in blocks of 4 KB with random access is equal to 80,000 IOPS. While reading is 50,000 IOPS. The series includes models with capacity from 60 to 480 GB. They support encryption algorithm, AES with 256-bit encryption. The wholesale price of Intel SSD 520 (one party from 1000) for the 60 GB drive is $ 149, 120GB - $ 229, 180 GB - $ 369, 240GB - $ 509 480 GB - $ 999. | ||
