Biostar presented the motherboard TZ77XE4 based on chipset Intel Z77, equipped with socket LGA 1155 . The motherboard is designed primarily for processors Ivy Bridge, but is able to work with Sandy Bridge architecture . CPU voltage regulator module is made of 13-phase scheme, and the typical cooling radiators for many products, which are interconnected heat pipe. Four DIMM slots for memory modules are able to accept DDR3-2400. Expansion slots are three PCI Express 3.0 x16, one PCI Express 2.0 x1 and a pair of PCI :  In addition to the standard Intel chipsets six ports SATA, there are two additional, so the configuration includes four ports SATA-300 and the same number of ports SATA-600. The I / O panel has two ports USB 3.0, four-port USB 2.0, video outputs DisplayPort, HDMI, DVI and D-Sub, connector eSATA, LAN, PS / 2 port, and standard connectors for 8.2-channel speakers.
