Bernstein Research company experts tried to predict the future of PC market and published a report with the results of their research. The main attention is paid to the authors report assessing the future of computers running Microsoft Windows 8. Analysts believe that only the prospect of system on ARM is running Windows : significantly alter the current balance of ecosystem Wintel.  In their view, the laptops running Windows on ARM (for this combination is proposed WARM), may be on average 10% cheaper than Wintel PC. If we assume that the technology of ARM will retain a structural advantage in the cost , it will be able to capture 60% of the consumer market for computers under $ 500. An important role will play software developers who need to provide a sufficiently high support for Windows 8 in their applications, because only one advantage in price is not enough.
