N-trig company announced a collaboration with NVIDIA, aimed at improving the technology to support multi-touch and pen input to the tablets.
Improvement will be made by combining the interface on N-trig DuoSense, providing pen input and recognition of multiple simultaneous touches, with the architecture NVIDIA DirectTouch.
Architecture DirectTouch improves the response to user actions through the transfer of processing associated with sensory input, processor cores NVIDIA Tegra 3, the world's only quad-core 4-PLUS-1 with the fifth core, characterized by low power consumption.
As for N-trig DuoSense, this patented technology allows a single device pen input, and input from fingers with the recognition of multiple simultaneous touches. Applications of this development, according to N-trig, include electronic devices for home, corporate and educational segments. DuoSense supports Windows and Android, and will be compatible with Windows 8.
