By the end of 2012 the number of tablet models running the operating system, Windows 8, built on a platform of Intel, will reach 32 units, while devices based on ARM architecture processors will be released no more than 8. Currently, each of the leading manufacturers, including Hewlett-Packard, Dell, Lenovo, Acer, ASUS and Toshiba, is developing a tablet models on Wintel platform .  Qualcomm, Texas Instruments and NVIDIA company, in charge of WoA development direction  (Windows on ARM), lack of qualified personnel, and compatibility issues with software and solutions based on ARM. Assocaite source also believes that tablets based on Wintel platform can gain popularity among corporate users.  However, these devices will feature a high cost that could reach $ 799.  As for the prospects WoA, the success of these devices will be determined by compatibility with software for Windows.
