Leading manufacturers of smartphones such as Apple and Samsung, for its own products are using single-chip systems Exynos, experts from the Santa Clara control the development of solutions under the brand name Apple.  HTC is going to follow the example of its industry colleagues, and take the development of processors for their own needs. For a long time HTC relied on Qualcomm products , but recently smartphone manufacturer has partnered with NVIDIA, using Tegra solution in One X.  However, HTC has signed a memorandum cooperation with ST Ericsson. It should be noted that HTC never focused on low end market  , while the ST Ericsson is developing an entry-level processors.  In particular, the dual-core model NovaThor U8500 became the base of the latest phones Sony Xperia.
