We often write about a variety of overclocking records . The Russian enthusiast, Smoke, which headed HWBot rating and became the fastest overclocker on the planet.

To win the prestigious title, enthusiasts needed a system based on the processor Intel Core i7-3770K (Ivy Bridge) and motherboard ASUS Maximus V GENE (chipset Intel Z77), as well as graphics accelerator, ASUS Radeon HD 7970 Direct CU II. Total Smoke was able to establish seven new world records in a variety of disciplines:
-
first place in the benchmark 3DMark 2005 with a score of 64,720 points, in which case the processor overclocked to 6625 MHz, the memory worked in DDR3-2430, for the core GPU and video memory frequencies were set at 1630 MHz and 7280 MHz QDR, respectively;
-
the best result in Aquamark , equal to 519,090 points, in this case, the CPU frequency was significantly reduced in comparison with the previous achievement, and the card worked on the frequencies 1255/6880 MHz;
-
record in the benchmark, 3DMark 2003 , amounting to 205 833 points at a frequency of 6540 MHz CPU, memory - 2400 MHz DDR, and the 1650/7600 MHz for the graphics card;
