Kyocera company announced two new smartphones running Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich - Hydro and Rise. New items, in fact, are one and the same device, but each has its own peculiarities. Thus, the model Hydro is made in a sealed case that provides protection degree IP57 (the unit support dust and can withstand a half-hour immersion in water at a depth of one meter), while Rise has no special protection from external influences, but has a slide-out mechanical keyboard QWERTY.
Hydro and Rise are based on single-chip platform, Qualcomm MSM8655, which include a 1 GHz CPU and GPU Adreno 205. RAM volumes and built-in flash memory are - 512 MB and 2 GB, the latter can be increased at the expense of memory cards microSD. Smartphone screens are produced in IPS, their diagonal is 3.5 inches, resolution - 480 x 320 pixels.
List of characteristics include wireless Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR and Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, Port Micro USB and 3.5mm jack for headphones, a set of sensors (including an accelerometer and digital compass) and a camera resolution of 3 2 MP. Battery capacity is the same in both cases - 1500 mAh.
Dimensions of Kyocera Hydro are 115 x 62 x 12,8 mm, weight - 120 grams. Rise Model is naturally bigger and heavier - 113 x 60,5 x 14,3 mm and 157 grams.
