The effects of extreme cooling on the CPU clock speed of AMD FX-generation Bulldozer was known even before their official premieres, when AMD with a team of experienced overclockers has made entry in the Guinness Book of Records after the overclock of FX-8150. Record was repeatedly updated, currently heads the ranking Taiwanese AndreYang, who managed to overclock the FX-8150 up to 8585 MHz. The younger brother of fastest AMD processor, FX-8120, is also capable of outstanding results. Enthusiast just_nuke_em overclocked this model to 8373.8 MHz , which was the second highest ranking in absolute frequency CPU.  The processor was installed in the motherboard Crosshair V Formula based on chipset AMD 990FX, with the system bus frequency increased to 279.13 MHz, the multiplier was set to 30x, and the supply voltage is raised up to 2,052 volts, as indicated by the utility CPU-Z.
