ASUS at Computex 2012, which will open its doors next week, has publicly demonstrated its new nettop EB1033. The reason for this early announcement is the victory in the computer category Green Energy Saving Product Competition Green ICT. The jury particularly appreciated the two major green product quality: low power consumption and the fact that more than 90% is subject to recycling.
The slim nettop is different, which amounts to just one liter. In this case there was a place inside, not only for the CPU Intel Cedar Trail (this can be as Atom D2550, clocked at 1.86 GHz and Atom D2700 frequency 2.13 GHz), 2 GB DDR3 RAM and HDD 320 GB, but the video card NVIDIA GeForce 610M.
The interface connectors mini-PC - four USB 2.0 ports on the front panel and two USB 3.0 ports on the back, a slot for memory cards, a pair of standard jacks for headphones and microphone, as well as RJ-45 connector, video output HDMI and D- Sub and a special connector for antenna wireless communication module.
ASUS EB1033 will appear on store in late June. Estimated cost is $ 300.
