According to our associate Erik Larsson we got the final specs for the 8800 Ultra..The specs are as follows : 650MHz Core/2160MHz Mem/1600MHz Shader....the card still has 128 Stream processors based on 90nm process and has 384-bit bus connected to a 768MB memory GDDR3 type (1.0ns) bandwidth at 103.68 GB/s (more than R600XT's 102GB/s)..has a new cooling device and will provide 15-25% performance increase in games and apps.. price will be very high at 899 USD...there will not be enough samples even for reviewers..let alone retail samples..the 8800 Ultra release is not made with retail consideration but only for PR (public relations) or a marketing gimmick.. fewer than 100 are going to be produced..tens..only tens maybe 40-60 We for the first time we can see the official frequencies Of geForce of 8800 Ultra: they were increased to 650/2160 MHz, whereas GeForce 8800 GTX worked by at frequencies 575/1800 MHz.
