At Computex 2012, which officially opened today in Taipei, GIGABYTE has shown a wide range of new products, including three motherboard with socket FM2 processor.
The most interesting model is F2A85X-UP4, the design uses chokes with ferrite core and voltage regulators PowIRStage IR3550. The power system is based on a 6 +2 phase.
In the configuration of GIGABYTE F2A85X-UP4, built on chipset AMD A85, - four slots for memory modules DDR3 (support up to 2400 MHz) slots, three PCI-Express 2.0 x16 (8x/8x/4x), three PCI-Express slots 2.0 x1 and one PCI. The motherboard include eight-port SATA 6 Gb / s. There are four USB 3.0 ports and four video outputs: DVI, D-Sub, HDMI and DisplayPort.
GIGABYTE note the support of technology LucidLogix VirtuMVP, and the availability of Gigabit Ethernet adapter, and eight-channel audio codec ALC898.
GIGABYTE F2A55-DS3, built on chipset AMD A55, structurally simpler than F2A85X-UP4: power subsystem is based on a 4 +2 phase slots for RAM, only two ( DDR3-2400 MHz supported) and a slot PCI-Express 2.0 x16 . The list of F2A55-DS3 specifications include four slots PCI-Express 2.0 x1 and one PCI. HDD, SSD and ODD can be connected to six terminals SATA, but they are limited by the rate of 3 Gbit / s. There is also a HDMI port .
Finally, GIGABYTE F2A55M-DS2. From F2A55-DS3, it differs in size (Micro ATX instead of ATX), a simpler power scheme - 3 +2 phase, even smaller set of expansion slots (one PCI-Express 2.0 x16, PCI-Express 2.0 x1 and PCI). In addition, F2A55M-DS2 has only four ports SATA.
