From the following week we will have the new official wholesale prices of processors Intel family core 2 Duo, but in retail these processors can be found with new prices even now. Let us recall that tomorrow Intel company will present three new processors models : Core 2 Duo e6320 (1.86 GHz), Core 2 Duo e6420 (2.13 GHz) and Core 2 Duo e4400 (2.0 GHz). We already reviewed the first two processors with 4mb cache and the new representative of processors family core 2 Duo with 800 MHz system bus. The latter, appeared in Chinese retail during March.
We start from the processor core 2 Duo e6320 (1.86 GHz), which will be useful from the amateurs of large caches and B2 stepping with price $163 in the nearest time.
This processor has the marking SLA4U. Concrete copy was packed 6 April 2007.
The following processor has higher default frequency and maximum multiplier.

The box version core 2 Duo e4400 (2.0 GHz) is before us for the first time. If early OEM- versions had marking SL9S3, then retail version has the marking SLA3F.
The concrete processor copy was packed 7 April 2007.
Processors stepping B2 series core 2 Duo e6x20 are interesting by their overclocking potential and large cache volume in the second level, the processor core 2 Duo e4400 (2.0 GHz) stepping L2 is interesting by its high multiplier (10x). Unfortunately, the limiting factor when overclocking processors stepping L2 is rarely due to the multiplier; therefore it is better to purchase Core 2 Duo e4300 (1.8 GHz), when its price will be reduced to $113.
