Ivy Bridge Processors appeared in march to the masses with the older models Core i5 and Core i7, then range grow at the expense of more affordable solutions. On this week's notebook manufacturers interested the CPU-generation Ivy Bridge, processors Intel Core i3.
Among the new models appears only two models: Core i3-3110M, designed for use in classic notebooks, and Core i3-3217U, oriented for ultrabooks. Both processors contain two processing cores enabled for Hyper-Threading, 3 MB third-level cache and graphics Intel HD Graphics 4000.
CPU Core i3-3110m Typical frequency of 2.4 GHz and a TDP indicator , equal to 35 watts. The graphics core runs at 650 MHz, but if necessary, the frequency can be increased up to 1 GHz. The processor supports 16 lines PCI Express 3.0 and is featuring the FCPGA988.
Frequency of Core i3-3217U is reduced to 1.8 GHz, the values for the integrated graphics are in the range 350-1050 MHz, depending on the load. The product supports 16 lines PCI Express 2.0, allocates 17 w of thermal energy and is available in surface-mount BGA.
