We already published the photographs of box processor core 2 Duo e4400 (2.0 GHz) , we even reviewed the corresponding engineering model . In sale processors from this model already entered, and here remained only to study their overclocking potential. One of the successful overclock examples with core 2 Duo e4400 (2.0 GHz) using air cooling was given by the well known overclocker coolaler . We start from the fact that the concrete retail copy of processor core 2 Duo e4400 (2.0 GHz) could work at default frequency with vcore 1.08 v.  Concrete copy is packed on 7 April 2007. This processors have default supply voltage not more than 1.35 v.   Processor was installed on motherboard asus P5B deluxe, paired with powerful air cooler tuniq tower 120. With the vcore 1.66 v processor succeeded to overclock to 3.6 GHz frequency .  Under load at 3.6 GHz frequency the processor heat was 59 degree Celsius. This is completely comfortable working conditions and worthy performances level for processor witch cost less than $150.
