Taiwanese company Gigabyte has started selling in the Japanese market a new motherboard form factor ATX, GA-X79-UP4. The motherboard is based on chipset Intel X79 Express, has support for Intel LGA2011-third generation Sandy Bridge-E and will cost about $ 302.
The motherboard is equipped with eight memory slots DDR3 (up to 64GB), two PCI-Express 3.0 x16, two PCI-Express 3.0 x8, two PCI-Express 2.0 x1 and one PCI slot. Also there are six ports SATA 6.0 Gbps, four SATA 3.0 Gbps and two eSATA, also four USB 3.0 and fourteen USB 2.0 ports. The motherboard has one Gigabit LAN controller, eight audio based chip Realtek ALC892, supports 4-WAY SLI and CrossFire.
