CPU Intel Atom, combined Cedar Trail platform, submitted in late 2011, will survive at least until the end of 2013. They will be replaced by solutions Valleyview generation ( Bay Trail platform).
Atom processors with Silvermont architecture will be manufactured on 22nm technology and will have up to four cores with a frequency of 1.4 to 2.4 GHz, each core has access to 512 KB cache in the second level. Architecture of graphics processor will be borrowed from Ivy Bridge, but the number of execution units will be limited to four (Intel HD Graphics 2500 six).
The integrated memory controller will support standard DDR3L-1333 and up to 8 GB of RAM. In addition, Atom will be the new generation single chip systems, and will be moved to the processor controller PCI Express 2.0 (4 lines), USB 3.0, SATA, LAN and audio codec.
