AMD partners plan to release the AGP- versions for video card radeon HD 2600 and Radeon HD 2400. Transitional bridge allow to makes AGP8x video card from PCI-e. According to some stats , the demand for AGP- solutions in developing regions, until now, still high. As is known, video card radeon HD 2600 and Radeon HD 2400 will be released only in the end of June. AMD partners are already allowed to publish their characteristics  , and here the official approved tests results publication will appear only in 1, July. Under such conditions , the characteristics of video card on base of chips RV630 and RV610 was published only by GECUBE. And yesterday Sapphire, placed on its own site the updated table with video card characteristics . In this table part it is possible to reveal video card with interface PCI express x16. If the characteristics Of radeon HD 2900 XT are well known, then the characteristics of video card radeon HD 2600 present some surprises. For these video card there is no additional power connector and they support  512 mb DDR-2, GDDR- 3 or GDDR-4 memory  . Frequencies are distributed as follows: Radeon HD 2600 XT (GDDR-4) - > 800/2200 MHz; Radeon HD 2600 XT (GDDR- 3) - > 800/1400 MHz; Radeon HD 2600 Pro (DDR-2) - > 600/1000 MHz. Let us recall that video card radeon HD 2600 have 120 stream processors (24 vec5) and 128- bit memory system bus  . All video card in this series are equipped with one slot active cooling system. Video card series radeon HD 2400 with interface PCI express x16 are limited by two models: Radeon HD 2400 XT - > 700/1400 MHz, 128/256 mb GDDR- 3 memory ; Radeon HD 2400 Pro - > 525/800 MHz, 128/256 mb GDDR- 2 memory . Both video card do not have additional power connector, they are satisfied by one slot passive cooling system, they have 40 stream processors (8 vec5) and 64- bit memory system bus . Radeon HD 2900 XTX has 1024 mb GDDR-4 memory , it operates at frequencies 740/2050 MHz and it is equipped with active dual-slot cooling system. This Video card has two additional power connector  - 6 and 8 pin just like the XT version. Finally, the second part of this table show the characteristics of video card radeon HD 2600 and Radeon HD 2400, with AGP 8x interface . Neither frequencies nor memory volume differ from their analog with PCI express x16 interface. It is possible to note the absence of radeon HD 2600 XT version with GDDR-4 memory , radeon HD 2400 XT, and also the presence of additional power connector in video card Radeon HD 2600 XT with AGP 8x interface .  All three video card with AGP 8x  interface are equipped with passive cooling system, which occupies the space of one expansion slot  . The AGP- versions radeon HD of 2600 XT/pro and Radeon HD 2400 Pro will be released with a certain delay after the relative PCI express x16 versions  , approximately in the second-half of summer.
