The current Intel chief technology officer  - David Perlmutter report that the company has a clear plan to reduce the scale of up to 7 nm, while ARM camp began to slip on the stage of 28-nm process technology.   We can add that last week suddenly GlobalFoundries company promised to release the first design for 14-nm semiconductor in the second half next year, so in 2014 start their production. Intel  Company , meanwhile, will release the first commercial 14-nm process in late 2013.  And  in contrast to GlobalFoundries, it can be trusted. Special mention should be the release next year of Haswell processors in the form of 22-nm SoC-assemblies.  Atom processors will remain for smartphones and tablets, while SoC Haswell will be released for tablets and ultrabooks.  This will be a full on-chip CPU: with all the necessary peripherals and appears with integrated radios .  It is doubtful that ARM will be able to present something  in this category with similar energy efficient and computing capabilities, not to mention the similar production rates.  Below 20 nm, sure Intel company will make a technological lead over ARM, which will be impossible to overcome.  Literally - Intel hopes to destroy their rivals after the successful development stage of 14-nm production.
