The French company Archos, well known in the market for its multimedia players and inexpensive tablet computers, is preparing to release its latest product - a device for reading electronic books, Arnova GBook. New device is in fact a hybrid tablet and e-book, equipped with 7-inch capacitive touch screen TFT-screen with support for resolution 800 x 400 pixels, based on a 1-GHz processor Rockchip RK2918 (architecture ARM Cortex-A8) with graphics Vivante GC800 . In addition, there is 1 GB of RAM, 4 GB storage, card slot MicroSD, 0,3-megapixel front camera and built-in battery capacity of 3000 mAh, allowing to extend the battery life up to 7 hours of video playback and Up to 8 hours of reading. The device is running the operating system Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich), but, unfortunately, does not have access to the store Google Play.
