NEC has announced the launch of Tablet PC VersaPro VZ successor, presented in March of this year and running Windows 7. The new model will appear at the end of March next year and will keep the current name, but different characteristics.
If the current tablet generation comes with a 12.1-inch display, the new model will get a screen diagonal 12.5 inch 1366 x 768 pixels, which is based on LCD type IPS. The improvements also increase the amount of RAM and SSD by half, to 4, and 128 GB respectively.
The configuration of NEC VersaPro VZ model 2013 will include LTE modem, wireless modules Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n and Bluetooth 4.0, adapter Gigabit Ethernet, two cameras, and two USB 2.0 ports and one USB 3.0, HDMI video output .
As operating system the new NEC VersaPro VZ will use Windows 8 Pro.
