IN June month, AMD company will present the first dual cores processors, which has the trade mark athlon X2 without the number 64 . These will be the economical versions brisbane with TDP level not more than 45 W, having 2 X 512 KB cache in the second level and socket AM2 design concept .
Here is the processor model athlon X2 BE -2350, which have two cores with 2 X 512 KB cache in the second level, it operates at 2.1 GHz and it is characterized by TDP level not more than 45 W.
Processor is released in 13th week 2007, i.e., in the beginning of April. It has a marking ADH2350IAA5DD, which describe its characteristics in detail. In particular, H on the third position speaks, that TDP level is equal to 45 W. 2350 is the number model, and entire (IAA5DD) repeats the standard marking in 65 nm processors brisbane stepping G1.
According to CPU- Z indications , processor works at reduced voltage. The characteristics of other AMD 65 nm processors , real voltage value will be equal to 1.2 v. in processors athlon 64 X2 with TDP level not more than 65 W it varies from 1.25 to 1.35 v.
We note that aSRock company already introduced the support of processors athlon X2 Be -2xxx and Sempron lE-1xxx .
We note also that on the cover of heat-distributor we have the inscription Athlon 64 X2, although in AMD road map these processors has the trade mark Athlon X2. We hope that this confusion will be corrected soon .... Related Products :
