On Saturday, Apple issued a press release , which briefly reported on the decision of the patent dispute with HTC.  The two manufacturers of smartphones and tablets entered into a licensing agreement for a period of 10 years.  The deal details were not disclosed.  What can you say for sure, now all the forces of both companies will be cast on the development of new devices without fear of running into legal proceedings and the prohibition of sales of finished models, as was the case with HTC about a year ago, when the court  banned some Taiwanese companies for entry into the territory of America. HTC was able to reach an agreement, because Apple clearly violated a number of its proprietary development of technologies for power management of smartphones and tablets, as well as all charges against Apple by a HTC subsidiary  - VIA company .  The latter claimed that Apple wrongfully uses image compression technology, invented by  S3 Graphics engineers.  To combat Apple, HTC even wanted to buy the VIA S3 Graphics unit, but then changed its mind . Separate news reports about the decision of another court dispute with Apple.  A month or two ago, the Swiss railway company presented a claim for the use of new operating system - iOS6 of its watch design .Apple has borrowed the look of clock, created in 1944 by the Swiss railway department.  To calm the hot Swiss railway workers, Apple once paid the organization $ 21 million , the money is good, but we would have demanded a percentage of each sold copy.
