In the fourth quarter, in US market Apple company sold 2.1 million system.  For the year sales of Apple in this niche increased by 5.4%, which allowed it to take 12.3% of the local market and take over third place.   Preliminary results of PC sales for the full year show the same pattern of positioning brands, and quarterly sales.
