Micron company introduced a new line of branded SSD - P400m.  In the series are released three models with capacity 100 GB, 200 GB and 400 GB. According to the developer, P400m drives withstand 10 times the daily amount of rewriting for 5 years. For a 100-GB model - it is 1.75 PB for 200 GB - 3.5 petabytes to 400 - 7 PB. The latest model, for example, can withstand daily uploading photos to Facebook service within 311 days, and it is about 75 billion images. For high durability models meets specially selected 25-nm memory MLC-HET NAND. These chips Micron company uses for its own needs. SSD Series P400m use Marvell controller. 100-GB drives are characterized by read / write speeds reaching 350/210 MB / s and 200-GB and 400-GB - 350/300 MB / s.
